Burns on Thursday in Beirut, Damascus

Diplomatic sources at the American embassy in Damascus said on Monday said that the US under secretary of State William Burns will arrive from Beirut to Damascus on Thursday in a visit which will last for one day during which he will be meeting with Syrian officials including the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara.
The sources said that Burns who will come from Beirut will discuss latest conditions in the Palestinian territories. The sources, however, gave no more details.
