Al-Bashir: extending the emergency law will not violate public freedoms

Sudan's President Omar Hassan al-Bashir has stressed that extending the state of emergency in the country will not undermine the public freedoms.
In a speech he delivered before the meeting of the parliamentary commission for the representatives of the of the ruling national congress party, the Sudanese President said that ensuing security is behind the state's extension of the state of emergency for one more year.
President al-Bashir left total freedom to the representatives to take their own decision to extend the state of emergency in the country. But the commission, had unanimously approved in its meeting the decision of the leading figure to extend the validity of emergency for more one year.
