Jordanian delegation to visit Baghdad

It was announced in Amman on Sunday that a high ranking Jordanian delegation will visit Baghdad next week to hold talks with high ranking Iraqi officials dealing with means of increasing economic cooperation between the two states and eliminating obstacles hindering the promotion of commercial exchange.
A Jordanian government source said the Jordanian delegation which will be headed by the minister of energy and mineral resources Muhammad al-Bataynah, and the minister of industry and commerce Salah eddine al-Bashir.
The source said that discussions between the two sides will center on renewing the trade protocol signed between them as well as renewing the signing of the oil agreement according to which Iraqi oil is exported to Jordan at preferable prices.
