American proposal to deploy Jordanian forces in the West Bank
Well-informed sources said that the US envoy Gen. Antony Zeini conveyed to the Jordanian King Abdullah II a proposal agreed by Israel to sending Jordanian troops to the Palestinian territories in order to separate between the Palestinians and the Israeli soldiers.

Eritrea says it is attacked by Ethiopia
Asmara on Thursday announced that some of its police and militia positions stationed in the outskirts of " Du'fi" to the ( South of Eritrea) were exposed to an Ethiopian military attack led by a contingent composed of 250 soldiers. But Asmara did not announce the outcome of the losses in its lines nor in the lines of the attacking Ethiopian forces.

Some 4500 Arab soldiers in the Israeli army

The Lebanese daily al-Mustaqbal said on Friday quoting special information source that the chairman of the Israeli intelligence Afraem Haleivy on Wednesday visited Cairo secretly and held security talks with the chairman of the Egyptian intelligence Lt. Gen. Omar Suleiman. The paper said that this was in contrary to news reports which said that Suleiman was the one who had visited Tel Aviv.

Yemen said on Friday it has been chasing two prominent tribesmen the US suspects as two agents in al-Qaida networking.
