Number of Gulf Tourists in Morocco on the Rise

The number of Middle-East and Gulf tourists visiting Morocco increased by 9.1 percent during the first nine months of 2001 compared to the same period of last year.
Saudis come on top of the list with 27,355 tourists. Their number increased by 3.9 percent during the first nine months of this year over the same period of 2000, the Moroccan tourism office said.
The number of tourists coming from Europe also recorded a 5.1 rise during the same period.
