A partnership agreement between Algeria and the European Union

It was announced in Algeria on Thursday that Algeria and the European Union will sign the minutes of meetings of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership agreement on December 19th.
The spokesman for the EU commissioner told journalists that the negotiations which lasted for five years between the two sides were completed on Wednesday in a great success. He added that the signing of the agreement's minutes will be held in Brussels in the presence of the Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika and the President of the European Commission Romano Prodi.
The 17th session of the negotiations on the partnership was held on Wednesday in the presence of the Algerian minister of state for foreign affairs Abdul Aziz Balkhadem.
