Any aggression on Palestinian leadership will have even reaction
Regional-Palestine, Politics, 12/6/2001

Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa said Arab Foreign Ministers would hold an extraordinary meeting in Cairo on Sunday for discussing ways of supporting the Palestinian leader and the Palestinian leadership in the face of the latest Israeli escalation. He further said that any aggression on the Palestinian leadership would have a same reaction pointing out that confrontation and use of violence will create a vicious cycle.

In statements to Radio Monte Carlo broadcast Wednesday morning, Moussa said that the Palestinians should not be blamed for getting even for any attack on Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and on the Palestinian leadership.

He said that the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories is the main cause of revolution, anger and resistance.

He underlined that the Palestinian resistance is legitimate.
