Olmert calls for expelling the Palestinian Authority

The Mayor of Jerusalem Ehud Olmert has called for expelling all leaders of the Palestinian Authority (PA) from areas supervised by the PA and to prevent them from returning back again to the occupied territories.

In an interview with the Israeli Hebrew- language radio, Olmert said that the idea of liquidating leading figures of the PA was on the way to be materialized, but American and international pressures prevented that.

Olmert claimed that the idea of expelling the chairman of the PA chairman and other Palestinian leaders is totally in compliance with what US President George Bush told the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon on that the US administration does not want to exterminate Yasser Arafat physically which means that the US administration has given the green light to expel Arafat and his authority.
