Mubarak chairs NDP general secretariat

The National Democratic Party "NDP" General Secretariat met yesterday under the Chairmanship of President Hosni Mubarak and reviewed the parliamentary nominations for vacant constituencies throughout the country.

Moreover, the President reviewed the development of the party and papers that have already been approved.

Following the meeting, Minister of Information Safwat A1Sherif said that Mubarak ratified the nominations and gave the go-ahead approval for the implementation of a through structural reform of the party.

He added that six new members were selected to join the NDP General Secretariat formation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Premier and Minister of Agriculture Youssef Wali, Minister of Information Safwat A1Sherif, Minister of People's Assembly and Shura Council Affairs Kamal Al-Shazli, Minister of Interior Habib Al-Adly and NDP Cairo Secretary Mohamed Al-Ghamrawy.
