American envoys tour aims at halting the Intifada

The Qatari daily al-Watan issued on Tuesday quoted a well-informed Syrian source as saying that the tour of the two American envoys Anthony Zinni and William Burns in the region aims at halting the Palestinian Intifada before any thing else.
The source added that developments coincided with this American move confirm that the US has not integrated nor balanced plan as a base towards implementing UN Security Council resolutions and the Madrid terms of reference.
The source continued that there is no intention by the side of the US to force Israel to abide by principles and basics of the ME peace process and Israel's withdrawal to pull out from all occupied Arab territories until June 4, 1967 border lines and enabling the Palestinian people from establishing their own independent state.
