Al-Shara gets a telephone call from Moussa, confers with Yemeni peer

The Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Monday evening received the Yemeni foreign minister Abu Baker al-Qurabi.
Discussions dealt with latest international and regional developments and means of revitalizing inter- Arab co-ordination and the police of state ?run organized terrorism conducted by Israel in the Palestinian territories.
The two ministers underlined the importance of strengthening national unity among the Palestinian groups and taking a firm united Arab position in confrontation of the oppressive israeli practices.
Bilateral relations between Syria and Yemen were also reviewed.
Meantime al-Shara received a telephone call on Monday evening from the secretary general of the Arab League Ame Moussa during which views were exchanged concerning recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and the current terrorist acts by the Israeli authorities against the Palestinians.
