Some 25 Israelis were killed 220 wounded in Palestinian suicide operations
Israel was strongly shaken and a state of horror and unrest prevailed following the execution of three suicide Palestinian operations, two in Western Jerusalem and a third in Haifa, resulted in killing 24 Israelis and wounding 210 and the murdering of the executors of the three operations.

A seventh term of office for UAE President
The higher council of the UAE held a meeting to re-elect Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan as a president for the Republic for the 7th term of office, while Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashed al-Maktoum will be elected as a vice President for the third time after he had succeeded his father, the ruler of Dubai, the late Sheikh, Rashed Bin Saeed al-Maktoum in 1991.
