UAE celebrates national day

The United Arab Emirates UAE on December 2nd celebrated its national day which marks its 30th foundation anniversary.
Under the leadership of her President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan, the UAE attained great successes at all developmental and social levels. A matter which makes of it one of the best trade centers in the Middle east and the western part of the Indian Ocean.
The UAE's foreign policy is based on moderation, wisdom and supporting legitimate rights. It embarks on dialogue and understanding among Arab and foreign states. A policy built on honoring laws and commitment to the UN charter and non- intervention in the internal affairs of other states, the sovereignty of the state, their territorial integrity and settling conflicts amicably.
The Arab - Israeli conflict occupies top priority of the UAE foreign policy because of Israel's policy against the Palestinian people.
To this effect, the UAE supports all international diplomatic efforts aiming at helping to finding out a just solution for the Palestinian question according to UN resolutions and international legitimacy principles provide for guaranteeing the rights of the Palestinian people including their rights to establishing their own independent state with Jerusalem as a capital.
The UAE also stressed her unwavering stand to the Arab rightful demands and stances to achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy resolutions, the Madrid terms of reference which abide Israel to fully withdraw from all occupied Arab territories in the Golan, parts of south Lebanon that are still under the Israeli occupation and guaranteeing the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
At the internal level, the UAE continued its economic progress with steady strides, as the sector of tourism restored back efficiency following the setback hit the world's tourism sector, and as a result tourism has become one of the most growing sectors composing the state's economy.
A similar progress was also attained in the sector of oil and gas and several developmental projects were licensed provided for increasing production capacity to 2.5 million barrels every day, while works are underway to install a main Gulf gas networking.
Parallel to its interests in promoting economic life, the UAE has given great interests to improving public services through implementing ambitious projects in various health, education, housing and electricity fields. The UAE government spared no efforts to protect the environment and preserve sea resources.
The UAE, moreover, are linked to remarkable relations with all Arab states in various political, economic and cultural areas.
