Israeli forces broke into Jenin, Khan Younis, Beit Lahia, 8 children wounded

The Israeli forces on Friday broke into Jenin and its camp and re-occupied vast areas of the city which fall under the Palestinian Authority (PA) rule. Areas the Israeli forces already pulled out from on Sunday.

Meantime, 8 children were wounded by the Israeli bullets in a demonstration in Ramullah after clashes erupted in the city following Friday;s prayers when persons who performed the prayers headed to the northern part of the city where the Israeli soldiers besiege the city.

In a provocative step, the Israeli soldiers on Friday opened fire at a French delegation while visiting a camp for Palestinian refugees in Gaza.

Fernan Tweil, chairman of the delegation of French municipality and intellectual officials which includes 155 persons said that the Israeli bullets were fired from a nearby inspection point while members of the delegation were inspecting houses destroyed by the Israeli forces.

The French official expressed his conviction that the Israeli soldiers aimed at frightening members of the delegation and to stop them seeing more destroyed Palestinian houses.

The French official said he will file a complaint against the Israeli army while the French consulate in Jerusalem said it had started investigations in this event.

Meantime, the Israeli forces in Hebron arrested three Palestinians under charges of being members in the Islamic Jihad movement and of resisting the Israeli occupation.

The Israeli radio said the three Palestinians are brothers from al-Jundi family and they were arrested in the area under the PA control.

Two Palestinian girls were wounded by the Israeli tanks shells when the tanks bombarded the western camp in Khan Younis upon its incursion in the area. The two girls are from Abu Salamah family and one is in a critical health condition.

News reports said the Israeli forces incurred more than 800 meters in Beit Lahia and the bulldozers destroyed several houses and farms while the Israeli machine- guns randomly fired at the Palestinian citizens.

The Palestinians retaliated by attacking an Israeli position at the crossing point in Rafah and opened fire at an Israeli force near " Houmsh" settlement near Jenin- Nablus.

Moreover, Palestinians in Hebron demonstrated on the anniversary of the massacre committee by the Israeli terrorist Goldschtine when he opened fire at Palestinians praying in the courtyard of al-Aqsa mosque and killed 29 of them before he was killed.

The Islamic Jihad movement claimed responsibility for the " martyrdom " operation which targeted a coach for the Israeli settlers to the north of Tel Aviv and conformed that the executor of the operation is Samer Abu Suleiman ( 34 ) year old from Sellat al-Harethyah village to the north of Jenin.

The movement indicated that the operation came in retaliation to the continued Israeli terrorism against the Palestinian people.
