Al-Assad confers with Kuwaiti official on bilateral, regional developments

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday at al-Rawda palace received the secretary of the Kuwaiti nation's council and the chairman of the Kuwaiti- Syrian friendship association Mubarak al-Khareinj and members of the accompanying delegation. Discussions dealt with parliamentary relations between the two states and means of strengthening them.
Kuwait's ambassador in Damascus attended the meeting.
Discussions also dealt with the prevailing critical conditions on the regional and international arenas. SANA.
