ETUF sees benefits of Arab common market
Regional, Economics, 11/30/2001
The Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) endorsed President Hosni Mubarak's call for setting up an Arab Common Market, ETUF chairman El-Sayed Rashid said yesterday.
"An Arab common market would open horizons for more inter-Arab trade and joint business ventures," he said yesterday.
"It would create job opportunities for Arab youth and help combat unemployment in the Arab world."
He added that the coming period would witness more cooperation in the field of manpower between Egypt and Arab and African countries.
