King Mohammed chairs distribution ceremony of food to the poor

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, accompanied by his brother Prince Moulay Rachid and his cousin Prince Moulay Ismail, chaired Thursday in Drarga, near Agadir, a ceremony for the distribution of food to the poor.
The move is part of the Iftar operation launched throughout Morocco during the fasting month of Ramadan by the Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation.
Some 800 people from the Drarga commune will benefit from 16 tons of flour, 4000 liters of oil, 3.2 tons of sugar and 200 kg of tea. The number of persons to benefit from the Iftar operation in the prefectures of Agadir-Ida Outanane and Inezgane Ait-Melloul and in the province of Chtouka-Ait Baha amounts to 13,600.
