German car-making firm launches charity drive in Morocco

German leading car-making company, Volkswagen, has decided to pay $ 500, levied on each new car sold in Morocco during the month of December, to charity work in the North African country.
The initiative, dubbed Operation Ramadan Children, was launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Volkswagen's presence in Morocco.
The donations to be raised from this operation will be distributed to three charities: Al-Ihssane Association, the Moroccan Association for disabled persons and l'Heure Joyeuse.
