UNDOF presence extended in the Golan

The UN Security council on Tuesday evening approved the extension of the UN Disengagement Observer Forces working in the Golan UNDOF for other 6 months.
To this effect, the UN secretary general Kofi Annan warned in a report to the UN security council that the general condition in the ME region still implies elements of dangers and will remain so until a comprehensive peace is attained.
