Palestine-Israel, Politics, 11/29/2001

The Israeli forces on Wednesday bombarded by tank and machine guns missiles al-Areyshah and al-Rabwat east areas, the surrounding of al-Amal quarters near Khan Younis and inflicted heavy damages in the houses.

Meantime an Israeli settler crushed the Palestinian elderly Mousa Ibrahim Findi ( 85 year old) at the entrance of Beit Houreik village near Nablus. The al-Jazira TV of Qatar correspondent said that the Israeli settler approached the old man and crushed him by his car before he fled away.

Meantime, thousands of Palestinians held a funeral for the Palestinian youth Osama Muhammad Halas who carried out a " suicide attack" targeted an Israeli coach on Tuesday.

The funeral was attended by more than 600 Palestinians from the Hamas movement which claimed responsibility for the operation and the mourners carried banners denouncing the occupation and call for eliminating the Israeli settlements.

In retaliation to the Israeli attacks, the Palestinian Intifada teenagers detonated an explosive when an Israeli patrol was running near Rafah and heavy losses were inflicted in an armored Israeli vehicle.

The Israeli radio said that another explosive was found at Natsareim cross-road in Gaza. The Palestinian Intifada youths also attacked by bombs an israeli patrol to the north of Khan Younis and this resulted in many casualties among the Israelis.
