Upper House sets up investigation commission on social security fund
Morocco, Local, 11/28/2001

The Moroccan chamber of advisors, upper house, on Tuesday set up a commission to investigate reported skimming cases in the state-owned social security fund (CNSS). The commission was set up to study dossiers of the fund and audit its financial situation, said Rahou Hailaa, a deputy from the Front of Democratic Forces (FFD) who was elected president of the commission.

The seven-member commission will carry out its investigations over six months.

CNSS provides various services to employees, including health coverage, pensions and reparations for work accidents.
