Morocco-USA, Science, 11/28/2001

Three searchers from the Rabat college of science will participate in a space mission to be conducted end of November by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The mission is meant to encourage space research, the Moroccan college said in a release.

Morocco is the first Arab and Muslim country to participate in the NASA program.

Endeavor ship will be launched on November 29 from the Kennedy space center in Florida. It will conduct some thirty experiments including experiments by five countries namely Morocco, Portugal, Argentina and Australia.
