Al-Qaddafi, Rabbani discuss issues concerned in a telephone call
Libya-Afghanistan, Politics, 11/28/2001
The Afghani President Burhan Eddine Rabbani has announced he had received a telephone call three days earlier from the Libyan President Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi in which the latter asked the " North Alliance " not to kill Arab members arrested in Afghanistan.
In a statement to the London- based al-Hayat daily issued on Tuesday, Rabbani said he had made assurances to the Libyan President that the Arabs still enjoy" all love and respect from the Afghani people," and that the behavior of some of them will not be reflected on the Arab- Afghani relations, describing Arab peoples and governments as brothers.
