Palestinian groups call for continuing the Intifada

The Palestinian resistance movements in the occupied Arab territories: Hamas, the Islamic Jihad ( al-Jihad al-Islami) and the People's Front For the Liberation of Palestine have called for continuing the Intifada and struggle against Israel until the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people are attained.

Representatives of the said Palestinian resistance movement met in Gaza on Sunday and discussed various conditions the Palestinians are passing, stressing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, the implementation of UN resolutions concerning the Palestinian question, especially the right to return and the establishment of the Palestinian state on the Palestinian national soil.

They called for the unity of the Palestinian groups and expressed strong protest and objection to the campaign of detention carried out by the Palestinian authority against the Palestinian militants and opposition with the beginning of every new political move in the region. The Israeli- Hebrew- language radio reported.
