Saudi crown prince confers with Arafat

Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz met on late Sunday evening in al-Riyadh with the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat. The Saudi news agency said the two sides discussed conditions in the occupied Arab territories and the importance of reaching just solutions to the Palestinian question provides for the establishment of the independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as a capital and guarantees stability and security to the countries of the region as well as restoring the usurped Arab lands.
Current conditions in the Islamic and international worlds were reviewed during the meeting.
