Kuwait-Tunisian tour operator to run two more hotels in Tunisia

The Kuwait-Tunisia development group on has signed a 12-year-long contract for the operation of two hotels in Tunisia's Monastir city, 170 kilometers southeast of here.
Hotels to be run by the group's Abu Nawas tourism operation company are Al-Rabat and Al-Habib, which includes 800 bedrooms each.
Six giant tourism companies have contested the tender to run the two hotels, owned by the Tunisian real estate and tourism company.
Abu Nawas now runs 21 hotel units distrbuted all over tunisia, providing 3500 jobs here.
Board chairman of the Kuwait-Tunisian development group Ali Al-dawi said in a press release that the group would invest 4.5 million dollars worth to renovate two hotel units in Tunisia beginning next year.
