Khartoum is committed to political reconciliation and dialogue

The Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has announced the commitment of his government to political reconciliation in the country, saying that there is no force that rejects reconciliation, except the rebellion movement, despite the fact the grassroots and the base of the south of Sudan are with peace.

He added that if all political forces agreed to work from the inside then, the rebellion movement will be restored back to " its natural position."

Al-Bashir, who was talking at an al-Iftar banquet held by one of the leadership of the federation party in Khartoum in honor of the chairman former head of state Ahmad al-Meirghani who is also the deputy chairman of the democratic federation party who recently returned back to the country, welcomed the return back of al-Meirghani and described him as a strong man who cam comprehend all politicians especially as he had no negative stances.
