Two Iranian delegations head for Baghdad

Baghdad will receive during the two coming days, two Iranian official delegations to discuss re-normalization of relations between the two countries and finding out appropriate solutions to matters that are still pending between the two sides since the end of their war in 1989

Meantime, an official source at the Iraqi ministry of transport said that an Iranian delegation will arrive in Baghdad shortly to discuss matters pertinent to the Iraqi planes kept by Iran, before and during the second Gulf war ( The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.).

The source indicated that the talks will cover the return back of these plans to Iraq within the framework of recently signed agreement in order to revitalize relations between the two countries especially as these preliminary agreement included the railway track of Baghdad- al-Munzireyah- Tehran.

Moreover, an official source at the Iraqi foreign ministry said that a high ranking Iranian delegation will arrive in Baghdad very soon to discuss the question of the missing and prisoners so as to close this file ultimately.

The source stressed that this visit comes following the official discussions between the Iraqi and the Iranian sides in Tehran that lasted for 10 days, during which the final formula on the question on the Iraqi missing and prisoners.
