Al-Azhar Grand Imam attends Evangelical Iftar banquet

Al-Azhar Grand Imam Mohammed Sayed Tantawi attended on Wednesday the national unity Iftar (Breakfast) held by Evangelical sect.
Tantawi underlined that the belief in Heavenly religions is part of people's creed and that all Egyptians have joint interests and are equal in rights and duties.
Moreover, Tantawi together with Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria and Saint Diocese attended Rotary club Iftar held at one of the hotels.
During the banquet Pope Shenouda underlined the strength of relations between Muslims and Copts.
