Strategy to protect Egypt's cultural heritage

Egyptian Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni is probing a final report on the documentation of Egypt's cultural heritage in tandem with the UNESCO.
Fathi Saleh, Director of a National Heritage Centre, said that the world heeded the creeping dangers that threatened part of the great Egyptian civilization and that is why the UNESCO launched a campaign to rescue the Nubia antiquities.
On the other hand, the Cairo Airport Cargo Village announced emergency to secure the travel of 70 gold coins that date back to the Pharaonic era to Austria, where they will be displayed at the Vienna Art Museum Friday, to last until March 15,2002 after the approval of Prime Minister Atef Ebeid.
