Preparations for a Syrian- Egyptian summit

The Israeli radio said on Wednesday that secret well-informed sources expected the convening of a Syrian- Egyptian summit very soon to discuss means of reviving the Middle East peace process following the statement made by the US secretary of State Collin Powell on Monday.
The radio added that the Egyptian President's political advisor Osama al-Baz who will arrive in Damascus today to deliver lectures in it is taking part in the preparations for the Syrian- Egyptian summit.
