King Mohammed opens Ramadan lectures

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, will open this Wednesday the Hassanian lectures, delivered during the holy month of Ramadan, the Royal Household and Chancellery announced in a release. The first lecture will be given by Habous (endowments) and Islamic Affairs minister, Abdelkebir Alaoui Mdaghri on "the Foundations of Social Solidarity in Islam."
The Hassanian Lectures, instituted by the Late King Hassan II, are delivered and attended by renowned scholars coming from all the land of Islam. They deal with all walks of life, science, culture. from an Islamic angle.
