Israeli commodities produced in settlements in Palestinian territories still not exempted from fees

Most European states renewed their position which rejects exempting the Israeli commodities produced in Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories from fees prescribed previously on these commodities.
The Israeli finance ministry director general said that most of the European states had informed Israel officially they will keep their measures declared earlier in the framework of boycotting the Israeli exports produced in the Israeli settlements. Among these measures are imposing very high fees on these exports.
The Hebrew- language Israeli radio said that Israeli and European officials met on Tuesday in Jerusalem to discuss the Israeli request to exempt the Israeli exports produced in the Israeli settlements from fees.
