The London- based al-Sharq al-Awsat said that the lawyer of the extremist groups in Egypt Muntasir al-Zayat disclosed in a telephone call to the paper that " Seif al-Adel " ( sword of Justice) the new military leader for al-Qaida is Muhammad Ibrahim al-Makkawi, the former officer in the Egyptian army, al-Saeqa group of the special forces and he was retired at the grade of a " colonel." Morocco's trade exchanges with the member countries of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) reached 4.25 billion dirhams (US$ 386.3 mln), nearly $ 393.04 million in 2000. The amount represents a 19.8 percent rise compared to 1999, when trade totaled 3.77 billion dirhams (US$ 342.7 million). Go
