One Palestinian killed by the Israelis, Clashes in Jerusalem, Ramullah

The Palestinians have defied the Israeli measures as thousands of them performed Friday prayers in the first day of the fasting month of Ramadan.

Other thousands Palestinians demonstrated in Ramullah calling for continued Intifada and the restoration of all national rights.

The Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Ikrama Sabri stressed that the Intifada will continue until the Palestinian people achieve their objectives to independence and the establishment of their own independent state.

News reports said that clashes erupted between the Palestinian forces and the Israeli forces which were besieging the al-Aqsa mosque from every side. Following that, the Israeli forces arrested tens of Palestinian youths.

Clashes were also erupted between the Israeli forces and the Intifada youths in Gaza following Friday's first prayers.

On Friday afternoon, one Israeli settler was wounded when his car was thrown by stones while running on the way to the Negev.

One of the Israeli positions in Nefe Dekalim settlement went under the fire of the Palestinians in retaliation of the fire opened by Israeli soldiers at the Palestinians near the said position.

News reports said that the Israeli forces carried out a new provocative measure for the feelings of the Palestinians when the Israeli Maj. Shloumo Hana Roshkoy inaugurated a front position for the Israeli police near al- Aqsa mosque in order to monitor what might take place in the surrounding of the mosque.

Meantime, one Palestinian was murdered and another wounded by the Israeli bullets near al Lid under the pretext that they are wanted. The Israeli soldiers also opened fire at the Arab citizens in Beit Lahia and this resulted in wounding the police man Sameh Abu Obeid.

The Israeli forces incurred for hundreds meters in Beit Hanoun and bulldozed tens of dunnums in the fields of citrus and olives. Other forces incurred in areas to the East of Gaza especially in al-Zeitoun quarters and destroyed a center for the Palestinian police and leveled agricultural lands after bombarding several houses.

News reports said that the settlers of Jordan river valley built random settlements near " Meijoula " settlement and they are preparing to transfer tens of pre- fabricated houses. The news reports said that works will continue to rebuild Routom settlement started on 1984.

The Israeli authorities prevented the chairman of the Palestinian legislative council Ahmad Qre' from entering the Palestinian territories coming from Amman through al-Karamah crossing at a decision from the Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aliazer to prevent the departure and transport of Palestinian figures.
