Iranian, US co-operation

The London- based al-Sharq al-Awsat quoted an Iranian military advisor as saying that his country and the US have cooperated in the field inside Afghanistan in recent weeks. A matter which contributed to helping the anti- Taliban Northern alliance forces to enter the Afghani capital Kabul.
In a statement issued by the paper on Thursday, the Iranian military advisor, whose identity was not disclosed, said that the agreement between the US and Iran contributed to finding out an atmosphere of understanding and cooperations between the American and Iranian military men who exchanged information and contributed to helping the northern alliance forces and increasing their preparedness before entering into Kabul.
