UN calls for immediate halting of the Israeli violation in south Lebanon

The personal envoy for the UN Secretary general to south Lebanon Steven De Mistora observed more Israeli violations to the Lebanese sovereignty.
In a statement circulated by the UN press office in Beirut on Wednesday De Mistora said that 12 Israeli warplanes and two other pilot-less planes on Wednesday violated the Lebanese airspace in 8 sorties until the airspace of the capital Beirut where it broke the sound barrier at intermediate altitude.
He expressed his regret over Israel's continued violation of the Lebanese sovereignty and called for an end to these violation and honoring drawn by the UN for the Lebanese borders with Israel.
