EU urgent aids to Algeria

The European Union on Wednesday offered 750,000 Euro as an urgent aid for Algeria following the floods which invaded Algeria recently.
The European Commissioner for development and humanitarian aids Paul Nelson said that this urgent need comes in solidarity with victims of humanitarian catastrophe wherever they take place, noting that what happened in Algeria was a catastrophe requires a rapid move to provide relief for damaged people.
In a statement, the European Union said that the said aid will be sent through the Red Crescent and Red Cross organizations and Belgian non- governmental organizations to ensure temporary shelters for damaged people, garments, blankets, potable waters and medical aids.
