Algerian presidency lauds moral and material support of Morocco

The Algerian presidency lauded the moral and material support extended by King Mohammed VI who supervises personally emergency aid granted to floods-stricken Algeria.
The presidency underscored in a statement how "the Algerian people was comforted by the moral and material support extended by the brotherly King of Morocco who has personally supervised the operations to send aid to Algeria."
On Monday, King Mohammed VI issued instructions to the Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation and the Moroccan government to send emergency humanitarian aid to Algeria and instructed head of the royal office, Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi, and royal advisor and member of the Mohamed V Solidarity Foundation administrative board, Zoulikha Nasri, to deliver the aid and renew to the Algerian authorities the condolences and sympathy of the Moroccan king and people.
The aid, channeled on Monday and Tuesday to Algeria by special flights, consists of 6.5 tons of medicine, 5,500 blankets and 200 tents with a total capacity of 1,200 places. Thirty civil rescue agents were put at the disposal of Algerian authorities.
