Saudi- French agreement supporting the foundation of the Palestinian state

The Saudi daily al-Watan said that there is a French- Saudi agreement to halt the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinians and convening serious negotiations between the two sides that will be conducive to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
The paper added in a report on Sunday, according to Arab and European sources that this agreement will be crystallized during the visit of the French President Jacque Chirac Saudi Arabia tomorrow ( Tuesday), noting that this agreement gives priority for a European, American and international intervention that paves the way for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
The paper disclosed that during the visit of the French President consultation will be held on the position of the administration of the US President George Bush towards the Palestinian state, the European and international efforts concerning the Palestinian question as well as the developments of the American war against Afghanistan.
