American security delegation in a secret visit to Yemen

The Saudi daily Okaz said on its Sunday's issue that an American security delegation in currently in Sanaa to hold talks with the Yemeni officials on security co-ordination between the two countries, and this will be in preparation to sign an agreement within weeks.

In its Sunday's issue the paper said that the delegation which arrived secretly on Friday is trying to reach a formula between the two sides for the provisions of this agreement which was proposed by the US on Yemen.

This agreement, however, includes an American support to the Yemeni government in the security and developmental fields for a Yemeni co-operation with the US in the area of fighting terrorism and providing facilities and security information that help the US to eliminate its opponent groups and cells.
