Cairo's Arab extraordinary summit on women

Moroccan minister in charge of women condition, family and children protection and the integration of handicapped persons, Nouzha Chekrouni, will take part in Cairo at the Arab extraordinary summit on women.
Chekrouni told MAP the summit, to open Sunday, will debate the situation of women in the Arab world and means to overcome obstacles preventing women from taking their role in facing globalization challenges in the Arab world.
She went on that the Moroccan delegation will present ideas and proposals to improve the conditions of Arab women and help them play a more active part in economic, social, political and cultural fields. The Moroccan delegation comprises experts and officials from the national observatory on children rights.
The two-day summit to be chaired by Egyptian first lady, Suzanne Mubarak, will look into the creation of the Arab women organization and assess results of the precedent encounters.
