Researchers involved in compiling Arab history encyclopedia

The Council of Arabic language academies has decided to set up a commission of Arab researchers to compile an Arabic History encyclopedia.
The council, which wound up its session Thursday in Cairo also urged for the creation of an Arab association of translation and lexicon development.
It was also decided to hold next year in Amman a colloquy on problems of Arabic language in the era of computerization and globalization and to update the Arab geography encyclopedia in Arabic, French and English.
