People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine calls for quitting Nuseibah
Palestine, Politics, 11/9/2001

The People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine on Thursday strongly denounced statements made by Serri Nuseibah the official in charge of Jerusalem file calling for quitting him from his post.

Member of the front's political bureau in Damascus Maher al-Taher said " the right to return is a sacred and legitimate right for every Palestinian and no body can speak to the Palestinians on that." Al- Taher added that the statements made by Nuseibah are very grave to the unwavering interests of the Palestinians people.

Al-Taher questioned " we do not know who authorized him ( Nuseibah) to say such words which are in contradictory with all programs of the PLO and UN resolutions.

On Wednesday Nuseibah told the AFP " the Palestinians call for a solution includes 'coexistence' of two states. According to my understanding of matters this means, more expectedly they will not call ( the Palestinians ) for the return back of 4 million Palestinian refugees."
