Two Palestinians killed

While the British prime minister Tony Blair has called the US President George Bush to put all his weight in order to revive the ME peace process, the Israeli forces broke into east Baqa village where a Palestinian youth carried out a suicide operation against the invading forces resulted in killing him and serious wounds among five Israelis.
The Palestinian national resistance movement Hamas claimed responsibility for this operation. In a statement, the movement said the executor of the attack is a student ( 22 year old) from Toulkarem.
The Israeli authorities imposed a strong military siege on the said village and started a campaign of arrest and detention after all citizens of the village were forces to leave their houses and gather in the squares and roads.
An Israeli spokesman said that the Israeli forces broke into the village on late Wednesday night after it cut water and electricity supplies and closed off the area surrounding it for 3 kilometers from all sides.
Palestinian sources warned against the results of the Israeli military campaign against East Baqa village, noting that the Israeli forces carried out Beit Reima massacre the same way it does against East Baqa village.
On the other hand, Palestinian medical sources reported that the Palestinian Mousa Abu Eya died on Thursday because of wounds he had in Rafah by the Israeli forces on Wednesday.
On the other hand the " Sans frontier" organization listed the name of the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Mofaza in the list of " the enemies of the press."
The Israeli radio said that the organization which takes Paris as a headquarters included Mofaz's name in its list after some 30 journalists were hit by the Israeli bullets since the eruption of the Palestinian Intifada 13 months ago.
One Israeli settler was strongly wounded after fire was opened at his car at an entrance in Brakha settlement in the city of Nablus in the West bank on Thursday.
The Israeli radio described the state of the Israeli settler as dangerous and said that Israeli soldiers opened fire at the settler upon entering the Israeli settlement suspected him as a Palestinian.
The Israeli authorities announced a state of alert along the border lines with the West Bank following information that indicate the possibility of carrying out a suicide operations and intensified its patrols in Hasharoun and Wadi Ara in the territories of 1948.
According to Israeli military sources barriers at the entrances of al-Khdeira and al-Afoula cities were errected after numerous warnings were received about nearby operations.
The Israeli forces arrested 22 Palestinians under the pretexts of their being in Israel without having necessary licensing.
The Israeli radio claimed that these acts of arrests came in the framework of mopping up operations in search of three Palestinians sneaked to Gaza.
