Lebanon-France, Politics, 11/9/2001

Lebanese prime minister Prime minister Rafik al-Hariri will visit Paris on Friday. In the second day of his visit ( Saturday) he will be meeting with the French President Jacque Chirac at the Elysee palace and he will come back to Beirut on Sunday. This meeting, however, is of special importance following the visit made by the French President to Washington and his talks with US President George Bush.

Talks between al-Hariri and Chirac will deal with latest regional and international developments in light of the American war against Afghanistan, the al-Qaeyda organization led by Osama Bin laden.

Discussions will also deal with bilateral relations in various fields and the future of " Paris- 2 " conference to be held for helping Lebanon to reduce its budget deficit through changing its public debts with debts of less interests.
