Mrs. Mubarak heads extraordinary Arab women summit next Sunday

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak will head the extraordinary Arab women summit due to be held in Cairo next Sunday. The summit is organized by National Council for Women, Arab League and Al Hariri organization.
It has been confirmed that the first ladies of Tunisia, Sudan, Jordan, Bahrain, Palestine and Kuwait will attend the summit.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of National Council for Women Farkhonda Hassan asserted that twenty Arab countries agreed on the draft charter and the agreement concerned with declaring the Arab women organization under the umbrella of Arab League.
On the other hand, the spouse of Bahraini Emir Sheikha Sbeika Bin Ibrahim praised Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak role for setting up strategies to upgrade Arab women and to enable women to take part in public life.
On the other hand, the national campaign for vaccination against polio kicks off today and will last for three days under the sponsorship of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak.
