Moroccan electricity utility shortlisted for privatization of Mauritania's SOMELEC

Moroccan electricity utility (ONE) was shortlisted to take part in the bidding for the privatization of Mauritanian electricity company (SOMELEC).
A special commission, headed by Mauritanian finance minister, said ONE was pre-selected to take part in the bidding and congratulated the Moroccan electricity utility for the quality and pertinence of its documents.
ONE says it will be receiving shortly the list of financial institutions interested in participating in the privatization operation.
