'Symbolic' Israeli pullout from Ramullah, two Palestinians killed

Following a symbolic withdrawal for the Israeli tanks from Ramullah, the Israeli government stressed their redeployment in the cities in Nablus, Jenin, and Toulkarem is stipulated to halt the Intifada.

Meantime, the Israeli snipers killed one of the cadres of the Fatah movement "Issa al-Dababisah " following an ambush installed to him by special units near Hebron.

Eye- witnesses said the Israeli occupation forces broke into Yatta village which falls under the Palestinian authority and opened fire at al-Dababisah while he was at the balcony of his house.

Moreover, two Palestinian youths were wounded during the clashes took place between the students of Ya'bud school, Jenin district and the Israeli forces which besiege the village from all directions.

The Palestinian youth Muhammad Kaskin (23 year old) and other three were wounded when the Israeli forces opened fire at Khan Younis camp. This resulted in destroying several houses.

Palestinian sources said that among the wounded is a pregnant woman and she is in a critical health condition. The sources said that the Israeli bullets at Rafah resulted in wounding 57 Palestinians.

Moreover, news reports said that some 70 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli bullets since September 18, 2000 including 15 in premeditated operations. More than 90 Palestinians were also arrested.

Meanwhile, the Israeli authorities started construction works for building a new settlement in the western Negev, adjoining Gaza within the complex of " Remaal Haloutsa" settlements. The Israeli radio said the new settlement is named Airmilka and it is one of five other settlements to be build in this area later.
