A Qatari attacks an American air base used by the Americans, casualties reported

The spokeswoman for the US Pentagon Victoria Clerk on Wednesday stressed the information which reported that two guards killed one armed man who opened fire at an air base used by the American army in Qatar.

The spokeswoman said she does not know whether the two guards are Qatari or Americans, noting she does not have information on the possibility that there are casualties among the Americans.

Brian Whittman, of the press office at the Pentagon also said he soes not have information on Americans being wounded in the incident which took place in front of the largest base used by the Americans in Qatar inside which they store military equipment.

The spokesman for the Pentagon refused to identify the number of American military men who serve in this base, nor their mission.

However, an American report indicated that guards men opened fire at a Qatari citizen and killed him after he wounded several Americans in an attack at al-Adeed air base.
